Those who don’t have any idea about ICL. Plz go thru the Link:ICL
Thank God!!! Finally the day has come for the end Of BCCI’s Monopoly. The Stage is Set For ICL’s First T20 CUP.This is the day am longing for many years. But i never thought that it would happen in 2007 through the formation Of ICL.Hats Off to Kapil & Co. for such a daring Move against BCCI.
BCCI Sorry BPCI.(Board Of Politics for Cricket in India) Which Politicizes each and Every issue just for Money Spinning.. (Instead of improving the Quality Of Cricket) deserves this Doosrah From ICL.The Main thing i cant tolerate is the Height Of Politics Prevailing in the Player’s Selection. As a Result many Talented Cricketers still cant able to find up a place in the Indian Team. Some of the Players Sacked even after Good Perfomance. For them ICL comes as a Great Relief to Show up their Talents.
Missing Players In ODI:
1.Hemang Badani:An Aggressive Left-Hander axed suddenly without finding any reason, even after performing Well.
2.Aashish Nehra:Top Performer from the Indian Side in 03 World Cup.Far better than Zaheer Khan,Munaf Patel,Agarkar in Pace,Swing Accuracy. But still denied a Chance.
3.VVS Laxman:Oh God!! What to Say The Most Unlucky Guy in India still now haven’t played in a Single World Cup.I cant understand the BCCI’s Policy in Filtering the Players for World Cup.How Dinesh Mongia In 2003,Uthappa in 2007(Picked suddenly as a Prize for his Scintillating knock against Windies) get the Nod From Selectors without any Major Effort?
1.Sadagoppan Ramesh: The Next Unlucky Guy after Laxman.Though he has Poor Foot work , his batting consistency remains better compared to current Openers. But haven’t given enough Opp.Poor Guy shifted his Gears to Kerala from tamilnadu,Even then cant able to find up a Place. With Rotating Wasim Jaffer,Gambhir,SS Das Why cant they give a Chance For Ramesh?
Even Now BCCI Banned(With the firm Support from ICC) all the Players who had joined the ICL and also taking necessary Steps to Prevent ICL from Hosting Matches in Cricket Stadiums(Which are State Govt.Controlled).As a Result ICL has to Host all the matches in Chandigarh.
In addition to that BCCI has started Operations to Kick Off their IPL(Indian Politics League Sorry Indian Premier League) by the next April 2008.
Now the Ball is in the Central Govt.’s Court.Unless the Govt take any Right Steps BCCI will keep On Playing Football with the Players.Eventually Where the Cricket is more than a Religion is loosing its Spirit and falling into the Trap Of Politics…
